Effective Date: July 30, 2026
FAM Humanity Foundation appreciates every contribution made in support of vulnerable children, individuals, and families. Donations help us provide medical assistance, disability support, essential relief, and community-based humanitarian services in Pakistan.
Because donations may be assigned to urgent cases soon after they are received, all contributions are generally considered final. However, we understand that mistakes and unauthorized transactions can occur.
A full or partial refund may be considered when:
Refund requests are reviewed individually. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Please submit your refund request within 14 calendar days of the original donation date.
Requests received after this period may not be approved, particularly when the donation has already been assigned or used for medical treatment, medicines, food relief, free medical camps, or another humanitarian purpose.
Unauthorized or suspected fraudulent payments should be reported immediately.

For security purposes, we may request additional details to verify the donor and transaction. Never send your full card number, security code, or online banking password.
After receiving your request, FAM Humanity Foundation will review the transaction and the reason provided.
We may approve the request in full, approve a partial refund, request additional information, or decline the request when the donation has already been committed or used for its stated humanitarian purpose.
We aim to respond to refund requests within five business days, although complex cases may require additional time.
Approved card-payment refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the donation.
Stripe supports full and partial refunds through its payment system. Once a refund is submitted, the donor’s bank or card provider may require additional time to place the funds back into the account.
FAM Humanity Foundation does not charge donors a separate refund-administration fee. However, payment-processing fees from the original transaction may not be returned to the foundation by the payment provider.
A refund may not be available when the donation has already been:
This restriction helps protect beneficiaries and prevents confirmed assistance from being interrupted.
When a donor accidentally contributes more than intended, the donor should contact us as soon as possible.
We may issue a partial refund for the difference while keeping the intended donation amount. For example, when a donor intended to give CA$10 but entered CA$100, a refund of CA$90 may be considered.
When the same donation is unintentionally processed more than once, we will review the payment records.
After confirming the duplicate transaction, the additional payment may be refunded to the original payment method.
Contact us immediately when you believe a donation was made without your permission.
We may request information needed to identify the transaction and may work with Stripe or the relevant financial institution during the review.
Where possible, contact us before opening a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue directly.
FAM Humanity Foundation currently focuses primarily on one-time donations. If recurring donations become available, donors may request cancellation of future payments at any time.
Cancelling a recurring donation will stop future charges but will not automatically refund donations that have already been processed. Previous payments remain subject to this refund policy.
When a donation is refunded, any acknowledgement, confirmation, or receipt connected to that donation is considered cancelled.
The donor should not use a cancelled donation record for tax, reimbursement, or accounting purposes.
FAM Humanity Foundation does not promise charitable tax receipts unless it has the legal registration and authorization required to issue them.
FAM Humanity Foundation’s website accepts charitable and humanitarian contributions rather than selling physical products.
Therefore:
If products or merchandise are offered in the future, a separate product return and exchange policy will apply to those purchases.
Donations made through cash, cheque, bank transfer, Raast, remittance, or another offline method may require a different refund process.
Approved refunds for offline donations may be issued through an appropriate and verifiable payment method. Additional identification or banking information may be required to prevent fraud.
Donations may be processed in Canadian dollars or another displayed currency.
International donors may see a different amount on their statement because of exchange rates or fees charged by their card issuer or bank. FAM Humanity Foundation does not control third-party currency-conversion rates or bank charges.
A refund will generally be processed in the original transaction currency. The amount received in the donor’s local currency may differ because of exchange-rate changes or fees imposed by the donor’s financial institution.
FAM Humanity Foundation may update this Donation Refund Policy when its programs, payment methods, or legal responsibilities change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
